Job Description

Job Purpose

The mission of the Omni Business Development (OBD) team is to win at shelf through empowering retailers & Kraft Heinz with insights. Within OBD, Omni Business Analytics enables Omni capabilities in driving outsized growth through innovation, experimentation and disruption, delivering strong results and a best in class consumer experience. The team’s analytical responsibilities extend across a wide scope including Sales & Market Share, Assortment & Availability, Content and Placement, Pricing and Promotion, Placement, and Performance Management, as well as several strategic projects to ensure performance excellence on pace with digital and in-store channel growth. The team works very closely with Sales, Finance, Content, Media, Category Management groups, within the US.

The Senior Manager, Omni Business Analytics will lead business analytics and insights initiatives and will be responsible for providing cross-functional teams with end-to-end business-critical insights and overall support to drive the business. This role will also act as a thought leader in developing new capabilities and solutions to solve key business challenges.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

· Lead cross-functional continuous improvement projects in eCommerce/Omni analytics, ensuring projects under responsibility are managed with utmost quality and timeliness. Ability to lead and influence will be instrumental, as well as attention to detail and the highest standards in data analytics and data science.

· Analyze overall business health performance, acquire a deep understanding of business performance and correlations, and provide detailed performance insights to cross-functional teams to drive the business. Develop and communicate diagnostics to aid in business health initiatives planning.

· Hands-on cross-functional leadership of advanced analytics products, from 0 to 1. Must be able to solicit core problem statements/requirements from stakeholders, generate code, launch MVP, and rally end users to gain adoption internally. Examples: Category sales forecasting, campaign measurement, etc.

· Collaborating with sales, marketing, engineers, and organizational leaders to identify opportunities for process improvements, recommended system modifications and development policies for data governance.

· Creating appropriate documentation that allows stakeholders to understand the steps of the data analysis process and duplicate or replicate the analysis if necessary.

Expected Experience & Required Skills

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, Strategy/Consulting, or a related field.

· Technical Proficiency

· Programming

· Required: SQL

· Preferred: R, Python

· Tools (Business Intelligence, Data Prep/Exploration, Presentation)

· Required: Excel, Power BI and/or Tableau

· Preferred: R-Shiny, Qlik, Snowflake, PowerPoint

· Data Providers

· Required: N/A

· Preferred: Circana, Nielsen, Numerator

· Background

· 5+ years proven experience in Data Science, Analytics, Strategy/Consulting, or a related field. Note: Consumer packaged goods experience is preferred.

· Leadership skills to see project from beginning to end without the need for oversight.

· Ability to think strategically about the information that will help stakeholders make data-driven business decisions and to communicate the value of this information effectively.

· Preparing recommendations for decision-makers that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and other insights.

· Strong communication, project management, and collaboration skills.

· Comfort with unstructured data.

Work Environment & Schedule

This position is considered a Normal office environment with limited travel or visits to external locations; offices are open workspaces Additionally, this role requires work a salaried, exempt schedule to best execute against customer and internal expectations.

Base Salary Range: $115,000.00 - $143,700.00

Target Total Cash Range: $155,250.00 - $193,995.00

Target total cash represents this role's annualized cash earning potential at target (base salary + target bonus). Target total cash is contingent on targeted company performance achievement and individual attainment of performance goals. Therefore, target total cash is not guaranteed earnings. In addition to base salary and bonus, this role is eligible for additional compensation in the form of equity.

The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
