Job Description

As a Business Intelligence Data Analyst at Fugro, you will be responsible for the development, maintenance and support of innovation data products, ensuring quality, timelines and cost-effectiveness of innovation projects are achieved. Your work will comply with company standards and you will be actively contributing to the continuous improvement of the data engineering process, by delivering safe and good-quality data integrations and dashboards.

What You Will Do

- Plan, develop and deliver technological solutions for the work packages presented;

- Create and maintain interactive dashboards, reports and visualizations that support strategic and operational decision-making.

- Automate reporting and analysis processes to improve efficiency and reduce time to deliver insights.

- Perform exploratory and statistical analyses to identify trends, patterns and opportunities for improvement.

- Extract, clean, transform and organize data from various internal and external sources.

- Ensure the integrity, accuracy and consistency of data used in analyses and reports.

- Work collaboratively with other areas of the company to understand their needs and challenges, offering data-driven solutions that add value to the business.

- Actively participate in the development and implementation of Business Intelligence projects, from requirements gathering to final delivery.

- Identify opportunities for automation and optimization of analytical and BI processes.

- Ensure that all data collection, storage, and analysis procedures comply with the company's data governance and privacy policies.

- Monitor data quality and implement processes to improve data reliability and accessibility.

- Provide training and technical support to BI users on how to use tools and interpret reports and dashboards.

- Promote a data-driven culture in the company, encouraging the use of data in decision-making.

What We Are Looking For

- 2 or more years of experience working with Microsoft Power BI or related BI tools;
- Solid understanding of database concepts and SQL;
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies;
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills;
- Knowledge in Microsoft Power Platform will be a bonus;
- At least Upper-Intermediate level of spoken and written English.

This is a temporary position, with an opportunity for internalization
