The Director of Supply Chain Master Data Management and Analytics has overall responsibility for clean and rationalized master data to support the operations of supply chain, data governance, and expanded reporting and analytics capabilities.
The Director manages teams responsible for all master data, creates and updates (items, suppliers, contracts), system interfaces between Workday ERP and critical systems including GHX EDI, and the development of a value-added reporting & analytics capability.
The position also owns the responsibility for coordinating with IT surrounding final escalations for ERP and core technology issues related to items, suppliers, contracts, and inventory locations.
The Director provides exceptional customer service to Supply Chain counterparts, operational excellence, continuous improvement, and staff mentorship/development

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborates with Procurement Leaders, AP Leaders, Reporting / Analytics Supervisor, and Contract Manager to drive Supply Chain strategy consistent with overall business objectives

  • Serves as main point of contact with the IT Department

  • Responsible for building high-performing master data management and Reporting / Analytics teams, in coordination with HR, including talent selection of MDM personnel

  • Provides leadership and mentorship for all personnel including setting vision, project planning, mentorship, and skill development

  • Coordinate with functional, Supply Chain stakeholders on the management of Supply Chain’s current technology infrastructure and possible future technology which may including Point of Use (POU) systems, Warehouse Management System (WMS), Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system, Handhelds, and other supply chain IT requirements supported by the enterprise’s IT services

  • Liaise with the leader of the Workday ERP Sustainment function for centralized operations & maintenance of Workday, including ServiceNow inquiries, break/fix, release management, and identity and access management (onboarding/offboarding)

  • Champion the importance of data quality to Network stakeholders

  • Oversees new supplier/vendor request submissions, item request submissions, and contract and Supplier Portal administration and governance

PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:

Standing for up to 4 hours, up to 1 hour at a time.  Walking for up to 4 hours per day, 1 hour at a time.  Sitting for up to 8 hours per day, 4 hours at a time.  Frequently uses fingers for data entry, etc.  Frequently uses hands for filing, telephone and loading printers with paper.  Uses upper extremities to lift up to 30 pounds.  Stoops, bends or reaches above shoulder level.  Hearing as it relates to normal and phone conversations.  Seeing as it relates to general vision, near vision, peripheral vision and visual monotony.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree in informatics, business management, supply chain management, or related field. Master’s Degree preferred. Project Management Professional (PMP), Six Sigma, or Lean certification preferred.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

5 years supply chain leadership experience; experience in a customer-service organization preferred. Workday or cloud ERP experience.
