Senior AI Solutions Engineer

Milestone Technologies is currently hiring for a Senior AI Solutions Engineer to work onsite in Ontario, Canada.

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Conversational AI Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing conversational agents using Google Dialogflow CX, as well as proficiency in other conversational AI platforms. This role requires a strong foundation in programming, particularly in Python and Node.js, alongside exceptional communication skills to engage effectively with clients on a daily basis. Knowledge or experience with voice-based IVR bots will be considered a valuable asset.

How You Will Make an Impact:

- Design, develop, and deploy conversational AI solutions using Google Dialogflow CX and other relevant platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features and enhancements for conversational agents.
- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code in Python and Node.js.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of conversational AI applications to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
- Engage with clients to gather requirements, provide updates, and deliver effective solutions tailored to their needs.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in conversational AI technologies.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients post-deployment.

What You Will Need to Succeed:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Conversational AI development, specifically with Google Dialogflow CX.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Node.js; familiarity with both is preferred, but expertise in one is acceptable.
- Strong understanding of natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning concepts.
- Experience with additional conversational AI platforms, such as Microsoft Bot Framework and Amazon Lex, is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment is desirable.

Preferred Skills:

- Knowledge of API integrations and webhooks.
- Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and DevOps practices.
- Understanding of UX/UI principles in the context of conversational interfaces.
