THE ROLE   

Legends Global Sales is seeking a resourceful, analytical, and innovative Data and Analytics Intern to join our team. Working closely with the Sales team, this individual will support NYCFC’s business development and operational initiatives by providing data-driven insights and enhancing processes. This internship offers valuable real-world experience in sports analytics and sales operations, with exposure to how data informs business strategies in the professional sports industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze datasets to uncover trends and insights that drive business decisions.
  • Assist in building dashboards and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support data collection and validation efforts to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data strategies with business goals.
  • Help optimize workflows by identifying and implementing data-driven process improvements.
  • Participate in preparing presentations and materials that communicate data insights effectively.
  • Provide ad hoc support on analytics projects, marketing projects and special initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Business Intelligence, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools like Excel, Tableau, or Power BI; knowledge of SQL or Python is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting findings.
  • Eagerness to learn in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Demonstrated interest in leveraging data to drive business success.
  • Knowledge of core Salesforce features including contacts, opportunities, dashboards, data reporting, data entry, workflows, etc.

COMPENSATION

$18 Per Hour Undergrad | $22 Per Hour Master's Level Student 

WORKING CONDITIONS

Location: This role will be onsite based in New York at the New York City FC Offices.
