Advanced Analytics Advisor

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Advisor to join our Advanced Analytics team at Priority Health!  The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with data analytics and visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI, as well as a strong programming background (e.g., SQL, Python). You will be responsible for developing and maintaining BI solutions that provide actionable insights to support business decisions. Experience and proficiency in cloud platforms like Snowflake (as well as adjacent data transformation tools, like dbt) are essential, as you will be leveraging these technologies to help build and automate data pipelines, as well as custom analytic applications.

As a strategic partner, you will play a key part in building out our analytics operations (or, “Analytics Ops”), focusing on automation and the development of analytic applications used by the business to drive value. Your expertise will help drive the creation of efficient, scalable solutions that deliver critical intelligence to various stakeholders. Essential Functions

• Develop and maintain BI solutions using tools like Python, Tableau, and Power BI to create dashboards, reports, and visualizations that provide actionable insights.

• Design and implement efficient data pipelines for processing and integrating datasets for analytics reporting and applications.

• Maintain close partnership with key technology partners, ensuring we are taking advantage of the full breadth of capabilities and offerings.

• Develop custom data analytic solutions for business partners leveraging full cloud technology stack, improving efficiency and driving transformational change.

• Communicate findings and insights to technical and non-technical audiences in a clear and concise manner.

• Lead business intelligence developers in developing solutions, helping build their technical skills along the way.

• Keep up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and analytics techniques to drive innovation within the organization.

Qualifications

Required

• Required Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in analytics, statistics, informatics, biostatistics, economics, math, engineering, or other related field

• 10 years of relevant experience as a financial analyst, business intelligence analyst/developer, data scientist, or related work within the healthcare industry Required

Preferred

• Preferred Master's Degree or equivalent In public health, health administration, analytics, statistics, informatics, biostatistics, economics, math, engineering, or other related field
