Job Summary

As a Senior Data Engineer (12436), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient software applications. Your role will involve leading technical projects, mentoring junior engineers, and continuously improving software development practices to ensure the delivery of robust and reliable software systems.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Designs, builds, and optimizes scalable data pipelines to process and transform large datasets for analytics or machine learning, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
• Develops and maintains robust data architectures, including data lakes, warehouses, or streaming systems, to support organizational data needs using tools like Spark, Kafka, or Snowflake.
• Implements and enforces data governance practices, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance, while monitoring and resolving issues related to data quality.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in software development with a focus on designing and building scalable applications.
• Professional/ Advanced English skills.
• +5 years of experience.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server).
• Familiarity with data modeling and normalization techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
