Job Summary

As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in data modeling, transformation, and pipeline development, ensuring data is organized, accessible, and ready for analysis. You will collaborate closely with the customer, including BI and software engineering, to integrate and maintain high-quality data. This role is fundamental in driving the adoption of cloud data platform capabilities, particularly with tools like Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery), Fivetran, and dbt, and occasionally developing dashboards in Looker.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Develop and maintain efficient and scalable data pipelines;
• Model and transform data to meet analysis and reporting needs;
• Work with tools such as Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery), Fivetran, and dbt;
• Collaborate with BI teams to ensure data integration and quality;
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation;
• Develop dashboards in Looker as needed.

Essential Skills

• Experience creating data warehouses;
• Experience in data modeling;
• Experience developing and maintaining data pipelines.

Highly Desirable Skills

• Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery);
• Experience with Fivetran;
• Knowledge of dbt (data build tool);
• Experience creating dashboads with BI tools.
