Data Integration & BI Engineer

We are currently looking for Junior/Mid Data Integration & BI Engineer to join our team based in our Huawei Turkey R&D Center!

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience
• BSc degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related technical field of study.
• Open to work in Ankara offices. (Our working style is onsite)
• Hands-on experience on complex SQL queries
• Familiar with SQL query optimization techniques
• Familiar with Unix/Linux environments.
• Working experience on Big Data platforms/components(HDFS, Kafka, Spark, Hive etc.) is a plus
• Hands-on experience with BI Tools and report development
• Familiar with at least one modern programming language is a plus (Java preferred)
• Experience on performing root cause analysis on data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem solving, communication and presentation skills.
• Strong desire for continuous learning and development.
• Strong multi-tasking abilities and motivation in a fast paced environment.
• Passion for sharing what you've learnt and confidence to ask others for help.
• Good in both written and spoken English.

Responsibilities
• Build the ETL pipelines that power the lifecycle of App Gallery operation
• Develop SQL queries that will work on ClickHouse/MPPDB
• Develop reports and able to maintain the developed reports according to customer requests
• Define, develop and present executive-level insights and reports to senior leadership to support business decision making.
• Analyze and resolve technical problems.
• Support and collaborate with a global App Gallery teams
