The Data Management Lead for the PMIS implementation is responsible for coordinating and leading all aspects of Data Management activities for the Project Management Information System. This role involves developing strategies to ensure a smooth transition and adoption of the new system, while improving data quality across the organization.

Data Management:

  • Lead the Data Management activities related to the PMIS implementation, including data migration, cleansing, and consolidation.
  • Establish and apply data quality standards to maintain the accuracy and integrity of data.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure data quality is maintained and improved across disparate data sources.
  • Coordinate the refactoring of legacy data sources to improve data infrastructure and reduce technical debt.
  • Provide technical and practical assistance related to data management and system architecture.
  • Ensure compliance with data management regulations and guidelines.

Project Management:

  • Work closely with the PMIS Lead and the project management team to ensure timely and successful completion of all deliverables related to change and data management.
  • Participate in project planning and PMIS team meetings to identify and implement change requests.
  • Develop detailed project plans and schedules for change management activities.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of change management activities to collaborators.
  • Support the design and development of PMIS platform for managing complex construction projects globally, covering all aspect of the project lifecycle.
  • Provide technical and administrative support, mentorship, supervision, and training to PMIS end-users, Micron-appointed PMCs and supporting contractors.
  • Actively build connections, recognize possibilities to contribute, and involve team members when necessary to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  • Provide timely developments and updates on training materials to ensure they match the latest procedures.
  • Collaborate closely with the IT department to ensure the PMIS platform design and any customization is aligned with Micron’s processes.

Skills & qualifications:

  • Degree in any Engineering field, Construction, or equivalent experience.
  • Experienced in setting up and implementing PMIS systems such as Oracle Primavera Unifier, Aconex, Ecosys, Kahua, Autodesk Construction Cloud (Doc and Build), Procore, and its equivalent.
  • At least 8 years of experience in Semiconductor, data-center, oil/gas/petrochem, pharma, or other relevant manufacturing industries with experience in Construction Project Control Services.
  • 5+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience in data management or data science and analytics.
  • Prior full-time professional experience supporting transformation projects.
  • Prior training/instructional design experience for software implementations and/or large-scale transformation projects.
  • Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute is preferred.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Hands-on experience with project management methodologies and tools.
  • Ability to develop and implement change management strategies and standard methodologies.
  • Report and Business Intelligence visualization development skills using multiple toolsets such as SSRS, InfoMaker, Tableau, Qlik, Power BI, Cognos & Oracle BI.
  • Extensive experience identifying requirements via industry-standard analysis techniques such as data flow modeling, workflow analysis, business process modeling, component diagrams and functional decomposition analysis required.
  • Knowledge and experience with a wide variety of computer, communications, and applications technologies and tools available within the engineering and construction industry.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Effective negotiation and consensus-building skills.
  • Excellent analytical and crisis control skills.
  • Passion for learning new technologies and finding better solutions.

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$79,000.00 - $223,000.00

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.  The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations.  Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.  The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs.  Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
