We’re looking for a Sr. Associate, Sales Operations to join our Sales Strategy & Operations team at Snap! The mission of the Sales Strategy & Operations team is to maximize ads business growth and performance by being the objective, trusted partner to Sales Leadership. Your role will be aligned to the Global Small and Medium Customer (SMC) organization, which focuses on driving advertiser revenue growth across the next wave of Snap’s advertisers via high leverage & scaled support models rooted in operational rigor & consistent sales motions. 

 

What you’ll do:

  • Own weekly revenue forecasting including modeling & partnering with Sales leaders on reporting their weekly numbers.

  • Be a strategic partner to regional leaders, provide revenue reporting & insights, and proactively seek to improve the SMC business in a data-driven way. 

  • Support the SMC weekly revenue reporting cadence, including development of materials and ad hoc analyses. 

  • Optimize books of business on a quarterly basis and support quarterly goal setting including sales team and sales rep quotas

  • Deploy data-driven strategies related to global resourcing, sales effectiveness, and go-to-market programs.

  • Establish and embed critical metrics to guide the team’s behaviors and evaluate progress.

  • Systematize best practices in the sales process and continuously improve critical workflows.

  • Identify areas of market opportunity and gaps to prioritize customer segments accordingly.

  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Data Science, Product, and Finance to identify areas of market opportunity, craft plans to capture those opportunities, and reinforce the operational backbone of the team.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills suited for audiences ranging from sales teams to Snap’s business leadership.

  • Experience in using SQL and/or Python. 

  • Experience with ML forecasting models.

  • Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) tools such as Looker, Looker Data Studio, BigQuery; proficiency with Salesforce, CRM Analytics.

  • Strong proficiency in excel with demonstrated experience in building excel models to solve business problems end-to-end.

  • Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance.

  • Experience in working independently, managing multiple concurrent projects and driving strategic and operational initiatives in a cross-functional environment. 

  • Ability to evolve in a highly-dynamic environment -  prioritizing initiatives, defining milestones or KPIs and driving results with ownership and adaptability.

  • Communication and interpersonal skills with experience developing and presenting business and technical content to peers and other audiences.

  • Experience partnering with a Sales Organization and Sales Leadership. 

  • Exposure and/or interest for the media and advertising market.


Minimum qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience which involved analytical rigor and program management/operational skills typically seen in, but not restricted to, functions like Management Consulting, Sales/Business Operations, Finance or other similar functions.

Compensation

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.

Zone A (CA, WA, NYC):

The base salary range for this position is $126,000-$189,000 annually.


 

Zone B:

The base salary range for this position is $120,000-$179,000 annually.

Zone C:

The base salary range for this position is $107,000-$161,000 annually.

This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
