Lead Data Modeler

Responsibilities

• Design and develop logical and physical data models using best practices and industry standards
• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality data models and pipelines
• Implementing data quality and governance standards,
• Document and maintain data definitions, metadata, data lineage, and data quality rules
• Implement data quality and governance processes and tools to ensure data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and security
• Collaboration with data engineers, analysts 
• to understand business requirements and provide data solutions
• to optimize data ingestion, transformation, and storage processes
• Conduct data modeling reviews and provide feedback and guidance to other data modelers
• Research and evaluate new data modeling techniques and technologies

Experience:

• 5+ consecutive years of experience (current) in data modeling, data warehousing, or data engineering
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field
• Proficient in data modeling tools and languages such as ERStudio, ERwin, Toad
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience with data quality and governance frameworks and tools such as Informatica
