About the Role:

  • Data Quality & Integrity:
    • Assess and monitor the quality of data sources used within the business unit.
    • Develop, implement, and enforce data quality standards, policies, and procedures.
    • Conduct regular data audits to identify inconsistencies, inaccuracies, or gaps and recommend corrective actions.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting:
    • Analyze business data to generate insights, identify trends, and support decision-making processes.
    • Collaborate with business units to understand their data needs and ensure that data is collected, processed, and presented in a meaningful way.
    • Develop dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to communicate key findings to stakeholders.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams including IT, Finance, Operations, and Business Units to ensure data requirements are understood and met.
    • Act as a liaison between business and IT teams to align data governance initiatives with business objectives.
    • Support and train business users on data quality best practices and the use of data tools and reports.
  • Data Governance & Compliance:
    • Participate in the development and implementation of data governance policies and frameworks.
    • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, data privacy laws, and organizational data standards.
    • Maintain documentation of data sources, data flows, and data quality processes.
  • Continuous Improvement & Innovation:
    • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance data quality, streamline data processes, and improve reporting capabilities.
    • Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in data management, analytics, and governance.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Data Management, or Business
  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis, data quality management, data profiling, auditing, and/or compliance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Experience with data management and governance practices, including data profiling, auditing, and compliance.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with SQL and data modeling concepts is a plus.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong understanding of data quality principles, business analysis, and data governance.
  • Ability to interpret and present complex data in a clear and actionable manner.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools and techniques.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements related to data privacy and protection (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
