Storio has an established AI and Machine Learning team in Nijmegen, with expertise in photo content analysis and layouts. The team takes pride in having well tested high quality code and development practices.
We are delivering value in several areas, including our AI-driven image upscaler and smart assistant which generate millions in revenue. We also own employee-facing products, such as our Translation Service. This service saves time and money in the creation of copy across our European markets.
Your Daily Adventure at StorioWe are looking for a passionate and driven senior machine learning engineer to join our Nijmegen-based AI team and help us build cutting-edge solutions that empower our customers and employees.
Examples of these solutions are: Building and maintaining an MLOPs platform, developing new models for photo analysis or photo ordering and using OpenAI in a translation engine. These solutions will help us improve our products, automate key processes, and create a more seamless experience for our colleagues and customers.
In your day to day job you will take a leading role in breaking down tasks and communicating with stakeholders. You will also be coaching, helping and working together with the others in the team during implementation. We have a fun and collaborative team environment that includes regular foosball games when we are in the office (don't worry, we'll teach you!). 

What You Bring to the Party

• Strong experience in building and deploying machine learning models in a production environment, ideally using AWS.
• Experience with developing cloud infrastructure (to run ML models) in production.
• Experience with infrastructure as code like Terraform and CDK.
• Experience with AWS services like ECS, ELB, Lambda and DynamoDB.
• Strong skills in coding and problem solving. Proficiency in Python is required. MSc or higher level of thinking in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Mathematics or related fields.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience collaborating with technical and non-technical colleagues
