Senior Structurer (all genders)

At Alpiq, we are currently looking for a SEM Senior Structurer to reinforce our energy tradingactivities. This role will be part of our Structuring Desk, where our origination deals are prepared& priced. It is ideal for somebody with a quantitative finance background, who enjoys both thecomplexity of structured products as well as the commercial challenge of such transactions. The ideal candidate will be managing the structuring team. This job is located in Olten, Switzerland.

Your Accountabilities:

• Pricing of various structured and LT products such as PPAs, VPP, Options, etc.
• Mathematical modelling, implementation and calibration.
• Management of the Structuring team

• Pricing structured products from Origination channels and brokers
• Building/Improving models & pricing tools
• Supporting Origination in their commercial activity: proposing new idea, direct client-facing support if asked.
• Management of the Structuring/Pricing team

Your Profile:

• Master’s degree in Mathematics or equivalent
• Knowledge in and affinity with European energy markets
• Ideally knowledge in Pricing/Structuring Commodity Derivatives
• Excellent mathematical modelling skills and solving complex problems
• Good analytical and programming skills (Python, VBA)
• Familiar with Optimisation, Econometrics, Statistics, Data Science, Finance
• Great communication and influencing skills
• Fluency in English, additional European languages (Italian, German or Spanish) a plus
