RemoteThe Integrated Product Analytics Engineer works on cutting edge electro-mechanical systems flying all around the world. Their contributions come from combining their knowledge of engineering products and their understanding of statistics to help build the first end-to-end digital thread for a suite of Collins Aerospace products.
The Analytics Engineer’s contributions also include connecting data from previously siloed sectors of the company and generating new insights to improve our products, services and business intelligence.
What You Will Do
You will learn the fundamentals of electrical and mechanical systems to understand key concepts and apply them to relevant projects.
You will provide data analysis using Python to support business needs, delivering actionable insights that drive decisions.
You will perform statistical analysis to quantify the completeness and validity of data sources, ensuring data quality and reliability.
You will support engineering root cause analysis investigations by analyzing data and helping to identify the root causes of issues.
You will advocate for the use of semantic models and ontologies across the business to standardize data and improve decision-making.
You will develop executable Python models to automate processes, optimize workflows, and enhance operational efficiency.
You will automate analyses and data formatting procedures, reducing manual effort and improving consistency in data processing.
You will clean and analyze data using Pandas in Python, ensuring that the datasets are ready for advanced analysis and decision support.
You will organize data and apply standardized labeling in AWS S3 to ensure consistency, accessibility, and proper data management.
You will implement machine learning algorithms on numerical and categorical datasets to extract valuable patterns and insights for predictive analytics.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience

Qualifications We Prefer
Experience in Data Science, Statistics, or Engineering.
Experience with Python programming.
Experience with graph databases, semantic layers, and data ontologies.
Experience with AWS, Azure, or Spark.
Experience with Git or similar software revision control best practices.
Understanding of the software development/engineering lifecycle from concept to delivery.
Experience with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
