A Master Data Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of an organization’s critical data across various systems and platforms. Here are some key responsibilities and duties typically associated with this role:

 

 

Your Responsibilities:

 

  • Data Accuracy and Maintenance: Ensure the accuracy of master data across various systems, including material and vendor data
  • Data Governance: Implement and manage data governance policies and procedures to ensure data integrity and compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Data Quality Checks: Perform regular data quality checks and audits to identify and correct discrepancies or inconsistencies in the master data.
  • Data Entry and Updates: Facilitate the entry of new master data records, ensuring all necessary information is collected and accurately inputted into the system.
  • Training: Develop and provide training to end-users on master data management processes and best practices
  • Maintaining and reviewing financial master data relating to material and vendor accounts
  • Prove the ability to communicate and effectively interact with people across cultures 
  • Identifying opportunities for improvements

 

 

Your profile:

 

  • 2-3 years of operational experience within a finance and accounting  processes as well as Master Data
  • Experience with SAP and managing master data records (Dynamics 365 as a plus)
  • Knowledge about finance, accounting and controlling processes
  • Bachelor’s degree of accountancy, finance, economics, business informatics or any other related to the field
  • Excellent communication skills (key role for internal and external stakeholders)
  • Experience with other process (logistics, sales, tax, controlling processes) is a plus
  • Languages: English (must), any other(plus)
  • Experience of Service Now would be beneficial
  • “I can do it” attitude, passionate about the work you are doing
