Role profile:

The Record Analyst will sit within Markets DGO and support the Records Manager in the delivery of a records management across LSEG Markets.

The individual will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the Records Manager in the cataloguing of records for each entity in Markets in a Records Inventory.
  • Documenting the description of the records, the location of the records, retention and disposal periods and record owner.
  • Organizing meetings with business representatives.
  • Recording and writing up minutes of meetings.
  • Liaising and following up with business representatives.

 Key behaviours and skills required for the role:

  • Excellent proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Experience in Microsoft Purview useful.
  • Experience in records management useful but not essential.
  • Experience in and knowledge of financial services regulatory framework and policy is beneficial.
  • Open to and willingly adopts new processes / approaches / ways of working.
  • Proactively identifies ways to improve products and/or services and procedures resulting in increased revenues, product/procedure improvements and/or cost reduction.
  • Shares information across teams, departments and functions and actively seeks information and input from colleagues and clients.
  • Actively listens to the contributions of others and respects others’ opinions, beliefs, backgrounds and points of view.
  • Manages expectations, maintains regular client/colleague contact to keep them informed on progress, issues and timetables, considers the stakeholder’s needs and anticipates requirements.
  • Always follows up and delivers on action points agreed with clients and colleagues.
  • Takes responsibility for their own work.
  • Demonstrates excellent organisational skills, plans forthcoming activities and identifies forthcoming risks.
  • Willingly puts in effort to ensure activities are completed on time and to a high quality.
  • Experience working within large financial organisations on the data requirements.
  • Experience working in diverse, geographically dispersed financial institutions.
