The Opportunity

At Adobe, we are at the forefront of GenAI revolution through the creation of our own Foundational Models for Creativity, designed for commercial use, trained on data from Adobe Stock and deeply integrated into our products. We are seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to lead the India Firefly team. In this role you will be responsible for growing our India Firefly team who own many of our key initiatives, including teams responsible for the creation and optimization of our Vector models and each of our Firefly Platforms.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to shape India's GenAI strategy and influence product development not only in India but also on a global scale. Your leadership will be instrumental in propelling Adobe's mission to empower creativity for all.

What You'll Do

• Lead a multi-functional engineering team of 50+ engineers that includes machine learning, data, platform, and data science. Attract the best as we scale our organization.

• Drive the strategy and execution of our GenAI model for Vector illustrations in partnership with the Adobe's Illustrator product team in Noida.

• Drive a services team dedicated to Enterprise Generative APls.

• Lead the Kubernetes, Model Zoo integration, Model drift automation, and monitoring components of our Al/ML platform (Colligo). This includes identifying and implementing standard methodologies to improve the efficiency and scalability of the platform.

• Lead the development and maintenance of internal tools and platforms for dataset management, with technologies such as Pytorch, Redshift, etc.

• Building a large repository of training datasets, enriching Adobe Stock data, integrated licensed custom datasets and adding public domain data on a variety of modalities - images, vectors, video, text, 3d.

• Monitor, analyze and report on the performance of the platform, identifying areas for improvement and making data-driven decisions to optimize the platform's performance and return on investment.

What You'll Need to Succeed

• A minimum of twelve years of industry experience, including at least four years of Al/ML and engineering leadership.

• A deep understanding of Al/ML, including ML frameworks, public cloud and commercial Al/ML solutions - familiarity with Python, Pytorch, HuggingFace is required.

• Strong experience in modern machine learning including deep learning and generative models for image and text.

• Proficient in applying standard methodologies for data ETL pipelines for machine learning.

• Strong experience in data curation and ethical sourcing of data, with knowledge of data privacy regulations.

• Strong experience in product management with a track record of delivering successful products and features in the ML space.

• A "" or master's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.

• Experience with agile development methodologies and standard processes for software development.

• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve their best work.
