Our key research interests span a wide range of topics, including (but not limited to) neural reconstruction, generative AI, and data-driven simulation. As a member of our dynamic and collaborative research team, you will contribute to work that is consistently published at leading venues in computer vision and machine learning. Our team boasts deep expertise in areas such as 3D computer vision, deep learning, and generative models. NVIDIA is well known for its team culture, and our researchers can closely interact with others within the company who are experts in e.g. perception systems, machine learning, and robotics. This role offers a unique chance to drive innovation that influences NVIDIA’s cutting-edge products while enjoying the freedom and resources to pursue groundbreaking, publishable research.
What you'll be doing:
- Research, design and implement novel computer vision and deep learning methods.
- Publish original research.
- Collaborate with other team members and teams on mission-driven research.
- Mentor other team members and interns.
- Speak at conferences and events.
- Work with product groups to transfer technology.
- Collaborate with external researchers.
What we need to see:
- Ph.D. in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 6+ years of relevant research experience in the field of neural reconstruction, generativeAI or autonomous driving/robotics.
- Outstanding research track record with work published in top conferences and journals such as CVPR, ICCV/ECCV, NeurIPS, ICML, Siggraph, etc.
- Excellent programming skills in some rapid prototyping environment such as Python; C++ and parallel programming (e.g., CUDA) is a plus.
- Knowledge of common machine learning frameworks, such as PyTorch.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required along with the ability to work in a dynamic, research-focused team.

The base salary range is 180,000 USD - 425,500 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
