We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer, to take on a critical role in bridging the Data & Analytics gap between business and technology. Compiling data to a centralized warehouse enabling our business functions to make faster, data driven decisions.

What You Will Do

• Designing, developing, and supporting our data platform using Azure technologies and other BI environments as needed
• Develop ETL processes using Azure tools like Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Pipelines, and Azure Databricks
• Extract data from various sources, transform it into a suitable format, and load it into Azure Data Lake or Azure SQL Database
• Gather and compile data from various sources to a centralized data warehouse that can be utilized by business
• Create and maintain data pipelines to maximize efficiency and processing
• Maintain and monitor ETL processes and data flows
• Participate in creating architecture diagrams and systems documentation that can be understood and used by business users and IS team members.
• Provide guidance to business users in business analytics; assist business users with self-service dashboard development.
• Follow and share applicable best practices.
• Provide support and issue resolution by analyzing issues, discovering root cause, and providing alternative long-term solutions to resolve.
• Ensure the integrity and security of institutional data.
• Create value via logical and innovative solutions that solve complex problems and adhere to best practices.

What You Bring

• 5-7 years of data engineering experience,
• Experience with Microsoft and Azure Stack for data analytics platforms (Data Factory, Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Machine Learning, SQL Warehouse, Data Bricks, Power BI, Azure Analysis Services, Event hubs)
• Experience in engineering data pipelines and logical data models that serve business analytics and visualization tools
• Experience in Database design, designing cubes and models in Analysis Services is required
• Experience with a subset of visualization, analytics, and reporting platforms: Power BI, Tableau
• Experience Optimizing Data Loads, Data Extractions, Queries and Stored Procedures
