To help accelerate our growth and pace of delivery, we are looking for talented Product Designers to help spearhead the overall look and feel of our features and services.
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team. Mainly, a Data Engineer position requires taking ownership of the design and development of data pipelines, seamlessly connecting our backend systems. Moreover, you will be responsible for collecting, managing, and converting raw data into information that can be interpreted by data analysts/data scientists, product managers, and business analysts. You will work closely with our front-end developers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable, and efficient software solutions.

What you'll be doing:

  • Analyze and organize raw data;
  • Build data systems and pipelines;
  • Evaluate business needs and objectives;
  • Interpret trends and patterns;
  • Conduct complex data analysis and report on results;
  • Prepare data for prescriptive and predictive modeling;
  • Build algorithms and prototypes;
  • Combine raw information from different sources;
  • Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability;
  • Identify opportunities for data acquisition;
  • Develop analytical tools and programs;
  • Collaborate with Data Analyst.

What you’ll need:

  • Previous experience as a data engineer or in a similar role.
  • Technical expertise with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
  • Experience in Python, AWS Lambda or other scripting languages.
  • Experience in Power BI or AWS QuickSight.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL database design.
  • Experience with data pipeline management technologies (mainly Apache Airflow).
  • Proficiency in utilizing tools, combining business insight, and meticulous attention to detail in the context of data validation and quality assurance.
  • Great numerical and analytical skills.
  • Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a similar field.
  • Data engineering certification (e.g. IBM Certified Data Engineer) would be a plus.
