What you'll do
- Manage and evolve our Data Intelligence Cloud platform, Collibra, as well as automatize data governance processes
- Implement the operative model, workflows, data quality KPIs, and related measures on a modern data governance and quality platform
- Connect and extract metadata from a variety of source systems
- Contribute to refine and evolve the overarching data management strategy, data policies, and set refresh cycles
- Contribute to design, monitor, and continuously improve data quality of data assets in close alignment with the respective business units, developing and maintaining data model objects based on business requirements and resolving data quality issues in a cost-effective and timely manner, including consideration of service level agreements
Who you are
- Possess strong knowledge in Collibra, with a preference for backend expertise, and coding skills in Java, Python, and REST-API interfaces, adhering to good coding practices, including version control and maintaining clean coding standards
- Have a background in Software Engineering with experience in Data Modeling (UML diagrams) and a basic understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and Functional Programming
- Demonstrate methodological and subject-matter expertise, with a good understanding of data management and governance frameworks (DAMA, DCAM, Data Mesh) and related technologies.
- Be familiar with agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum), ETL processes, and reporting and analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Collaborate with an (intercultural) team and effectively convey complex data concepts to stakeholders, leveraging strong communication skills and fluency in English
