 Data Architect with Cloudera

Are you passionate about designing innovative and scalable data solutions? At SIX, we are looking for a talented Data Architect with expertise in Cloudera to lead the creation and optimization of our data architectures, driving key projects and enabling data-driven decision-making.
This is a unique opportunity to lead our data infrastructure using Cloudera´s cutting-edge tools and technologies.

 

 

What You Will Do

• design and architect end-to-end solutions leveraging the Cloudera platform, including CDP, CDH, or HDP
• develop and implement distributed data processing applications using tools such as Spark, Hive, Impala, and Kafka
• collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for data integration and advanced analytics
• ensure best practices in data security, performance, and quality
• provide guidance and mentorship to development teams on leveraging Cloudera tools and technologies effectively

 

What You Bring

• bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field and proven experience working with Cloudera technologies (CDP, CDH, or HDP)
• strong knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem tools such as Hive,Kudu, Spark, HBase, Kafka, and YARN
• strong programming skills in Scala and experience in Apache Spark development
• proficiency in data modeling, ETL processes, and distributed computing
• solid understanding of data security, including Kerberos authentication and role-based access control
• strong problem-solving and communication skills (in English and Spanish), with the ability to work across technical and business teams effectively
