Data Analyst

Purpose of the Job

This data Analyst is responsible for collecting and analyzing data to identify patterns, trends and provide management with useful information to help drive informed decision-making within the organization. This roles involves identifying, gathering, analyzing raw data and making insights to the organization through meaningful, easy to understand graphs, charts, tables and reports.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Partner with key stakeholders across the organization to identify opportunities to the enhancement or manipulation to help drive informed decision-making within Coptic Orphans.
• Collect and organize data from multiple sources, including databases, surveys, and other systems.
• Clean and process data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
• Analyze collected data using statistical techniques and interpret findings.
• Generate reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate insights to stakeholders, offering both high-level overviews and detailed, in-depth analyses to support a range of decision-making needs.
• Perform predictive analysis to forecast trends or outcomes based on historical data
• Work with the technology team members to identify larger-scale system changes and necessary integrations, gather requirements, develop specifications, work with external and/or internal technical resources to implement changes, and conduct thorough data testing
• Perform any additional tasks as requested.

Required Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills

• Bachelor's degree Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems Management or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience data analysis.
• Experience in reporting and data visualization tools such as Business Objects, PowerBI and Tableau
• Experience in handling reporting packages like Business Objects, programming (Javascript, XML, or ETL frameworks), databases.
• Strong mathematical skills to help collect, measure, organize and analyze data.
• Technical proficiency regarding database design development, data models, techniques for data mining, and segmentation.
• Proficiency in statistics and statistical packages like Excel, SPSS, SAS to be used for data set analyzing.
• Understanding of website scripts such as XML, Javascript, JSON.
• Familiar with Digital marketing analytics tools.
• Ability to write and speak clearly to communicate complex ideas in a way that is easy to understand.
• Very good verbal and written communication skills.

Travel and Working requirements

• Limited to typical office environment such as walking, sitting, typing, using office equipment, and occasional lifting of boxes or luggage during travel.
• Working out of the official hours and on weekends may be required
