The AI for Science team has been focusing on tackling challenges in natural sciences, including biology, physics, and materials, with computational tools such as Machine Learning, Computational Chemistry, High-throughput Computation. Our goal is to create breakthroughs in natural science with new methodology and help the world.

We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Scientist with strong computational biology expertise to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have robust coding abilities and extensive experience in machine learning methodologies. This role involves modeling biological complexes using both data-driven and physics-driven approaches to drive innovation in our research and development efforts.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computational Biology, Physics, or a related field.
- Machine Learning Expertise: Deep understanding of machine learning frameworks and tools, particularly in generative models, graph neural networks, and reinforcement learning.
- Domain Knowledge: Extensive experience in modeling biological complexes, including proteins, molecules, and DNA/RNA structures and sequences.
- Publication Record: Proven track record of publications in high-impact, peer-reviewed scientific journals.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical abilities with a talent for independent research and innovation. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Communication Skills: Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience of molecular dynamics force fields and enhanced sampling algorithms
- Experience of generative modelling of biological complexes
- Experience of quantum chemistry algorithms and applications

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $212800 - $389500 annually.​

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.​

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).​
