Responsibilities

Noblis is seeking to hire a Cleared DevOps Engineer - Kubernetes with an ACTIVE Top Secret with SCI and Polygraph in Reston, VA

 

As a DevOps/Kubernetes Engineer, you will be tasked with architecting, deploying, and maintaining software, monitoring workloads, enhancing DevOps pipelines, and orchestrating deployments within Kubernetes. You will be working with our federal clients to rapidly develop innovative solutions for immediate mission challenges. In your role, you will:

  • work with a team of other developers, data scientists, SMEs, and cyber analysts to design and develop new applications and integrate new solutions on existing applications. 
  • analyze our clients' challenges and provide solutions by identifying and applying new tools and technologies and developing various types of applications.
  • program, debug, and work in a team environment.
  • regularly communicate with your team, team lead, and clients to provide progress status updates.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. 
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Software Engineering. 
  • Proficiency in scripting languages including Python and Bash, and configuration formats like JSON and YAML. 
  • Strong command of AWS Cloud Services. 
  • Extensive expertise (5+) with Docker and managing containerized applications. 
  • Proficiency in utilizing Helm, Docker Compose, and Terraform. 
  • In-depth comprehension of container orchestration platforms, notably Kubernetes. 
  • Sound knowledge of Linux operating systems. 
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI/CD, GithHub Actions, and Jenkins 
  • Understanding of authentication protocols such as Keycloak and OAuth. 
  • Experience with web frameworks such as FastAPI and Spring Boot.  
  • Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
  • Must be able to work on-site in Reston, VA

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, ElasticSearch, Logstash, and Kibana. 
  • Understanding of GitOps principles and tools like Flux and ArgoCD. 
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes management platforms such as EKS, Rancher, Harbor and AKS 
  • Experience deploying applications to cloud-based environments 
  • Experience in managing and troubleshooting GPU-based workloads, including CUDA. 
  • Familiarity with popular machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and ONNX. 
  • Knowledge of dependency management tools such as Python Poetry and Conda. 
  • General understanding of programming languages like Python and Java. 
  • Understanding of PKI, TLS, and X.509 Authentication. 
  • CKA Certification

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package.

Posted Salary Range

USD $114,100.00 - USD $178,300.00 /Yr.
