Job Description

This role requires system/technical and programming skills, preferably PowerBI & BRIX Analytics development. The developer will play a key role in the digital strategic vision of the Inbound Solutions team, which is to continue building a robust analytical platform through PowerBI and BRIX Analytics developments. This platform will empower end-users to navigate complex information and accelerate the discovery of critical factors that impact cost and service performance.

Will be responsible for data sourcing, data validation, Power BI, BRIX Analytics developments and process automation to support Inbound Solution users.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Complex dashboard creation, maintenance and automation
  • System/software training
  • Programming
  • Ability to model data in a Data Warehouse
  • Strong drive and passion for learning and staying on the bleeding edge of data technology.
  • Ensure data accuracy in and across systems (BRIX, SAP)

Key Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for the development and deployment of Digital and Asset Productivity dashboards in Inbound Solutions.
  • Analyze/diagnose data quality or system deficiency issues to provide options for resolution. Communicate data quality problems and potential impacts; lead resolution via data integration and/or business process improvement.
  • Support system administration, monitoring, security, and server management for PowerBI & BRIX Analytics environments.
  • Extracting, transforming, and mapping data from multiple sources into PBI and BRIX Analytics applications from SAP, BW, Salesforce, Excel and other sources.
  • Work directly with end users to define and prototype PowerBI, and BRIX applications.
  • Requires and/or must develop business and operational understanding of Inbound Solutions business and serialized asset management solution.
  • Provides documentation of specifications and data quality related to the solutions developed.
  • Own the production and maintenance of a scheduled catalogue of reports/solutions to drive key business decisions
  • Application of business knowledge to support Ad-hoc data requests and small-scale developments
  • Partner with local teams to understand current processes and data usage / availability to identify gaps in service or efficiency improvements; manage the production of automated solutions that drive new value or savings
  • Develop a deep understanding of technical solutions being produced and communicate key insights and use cases to a non-technical/data literate audience in a simple and clear manner
  • Performs advanced analytical development on large data sets Development, and Integration of Prescriptive and Predictive Analytics Tools within the BI Platform.
  • Ability to balance the need to provide simple solution while delivering complex query resolution
  • Effective management of tasks to ensure timely resolution
  • Providing agnostic support that effectively balances the needs of customers and business to deliver innovative solutions
  • Multi-tasking in a challenging and supportive team environment
  • Acting as subject matter expert and an evolving source of knowledge
  • Comfortable with high place of change as our team evolves and business priorities shift

Qualifications:

  • University degree or equal by experience
  • SQL
  • Python
  • Advanced Excel

  • PowerBI - DAX & M Query
  • Power platforms (Automate, Apps, Etc)
  • BRIX Analytics
