The SOD & finance master data manager :

  • Ensures proper Segregation of Duties (SoD) in the integrated IT systems
  • Acts as business owner for the SAP access provisioning tool used by the Group (SAP GRC) in relation with IS&T and improves the SOD management processes
  • Supports the Functions and Regions by reviewing the system roles or profiles in line with the Group SoD matrix and advising on SoD risk management
  • ensures the proper access control to GSI for finance community
  • oversees the quality and integrity of finance master data

 

The Finance Master data and SOD Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating the adequacy and robustness of the SOD framework globally, to ensure the proper access control to GSI for finance roles and to oversee the quality and integrity of finance master data.

 

Responsibilities included but not limited to:

  1. Coordinate, monitor and maintain Alstom’s SOD framework:
  • Maintain and continuously improve the SOD Matrix
    • Evaluates the change requests to the SOD Matrix from both a functional and a technical perspective
    • Helps the BPOs of GSI in the understanding of SoD risks and critical roles
    • Proposes for the removal of false risks if need be
    • Proposes and implements process & tools enhancements for SOD management
  • Animate the Operational Review Meeting for GRC/SoD
  • Provide SOD and roles & authorization related trainings to the organization

 

  1. SAP GRC (consists of ARM) : Business Owner, Animation of the GSI RBPEs , RBPE Leads , BPOs and Internal control.
  • Provides Functional Support to Key Users (directly and indirectly through RBPEs)
  • Creates/ Evaluates the change requests for the application based on the REX with RBPEs and KUs and ICMs (technical changes jointly with IS IT)
  • Participates in meetings with the IS&T counterparts.
  • BPO user access provisioning in SAP GSI, FIORI, GRC and the related training materials
  • BPO user access review in SAP GSI, FIORI, GRC and the related training

 

  1. Qliksense “Enhanced GRC” Business Owner: Business Owner, Animation of the GSI RBPEs , RBPE Leads & Internal control.
  • Provides Functional Support to Key Users ( directly and indirectly through RBPEs)
  • Creates/ Evaluates the change requests for the application (technical changes jointly with IS IT)
  • Participates in meetings with the IS&T counterparts.
  • BPO user access review in SAP GSI and the related training material

 

  1. Catalogue Roles  GSI - Business Owner, Animation of the network of BPOs
  • Proposes changes to the architecture of roles.
  • Improves the data quality of the role catalogue by identifying errors and raising requests to rectify the issues.

 

  1. Responsibility of GSI Finance Roles & Authorizations
  • Review & approve access request as sensitive role owner
  • Define necessary role updates in the frame of change requests or new processes.
  • Supports the resolution of issues in segregation of duty
  • Supports the definition of mitigating controls

 

  1. Management of a set of finance master data
  • Supports the finance master data management, ensuring correct and consistent processes are in place
  • Ensures a control tower approach for data quality purposes
  • Represents Finance for Employee Master Data management (projects, processes, ad-hoc issues)
  • Supports resolution of ad-hoc issues

 

Educational requirement : 

  • Diploma/Master-level degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, business administration or equivalent combination of training

Experience : 

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in external or internal audit function (including IS IT auditor roles), internal control role, IS IT Segregation of duties or roles & authorization management roles preferably in large-scale companies in the industrial domain

  • Possesses strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Communication in English: All interviews and deliverables to be in English. Proven and sustained communication (oral and written) skills, including ability to write persuasively in a clear and concise manner, and to communicate effectively orally to a variety of audiences.
  • Leadership: Ability to influence people and operations to achieve objectives.

  • Demonstrates critical mindset, critical attention to detail and deadlines, and self-motivated
  • Analytical Thinking: Analytical identification and solving of problems. Identifies a number of pragmatic solutions.
