CoverMyMeds is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to work on our team that delivers forecasting and finance information pertaining to our products' user network. We are in search of a driven, self-motivated team-player who will thrive in a constantly changing and time-sensitive environment. This role requires a candidate that is energized by solving complex problems, has the tenacity to push through to complete difficult projects, and is intent on enabling users to succeed. Our ideal candidate will possess strong SQL and Tableau dashboard building skills. Experience with automating processes and procedures with SQL to Tableau, or utilizing Python, is a plus.

*Candidate must be based in the metropolitan area of our hub city Columbus, OH. Position will primarily allow for remote working, but candidate must reside in the Columbus, OH area and be willing to come into the office from time to time for key meetings and face time.

What You'll Do 

As a Business Intelligence Analyst at CoverMyMeds, you will empower our clients and internal teams by providing world-class analytics solutions. This role is responsible for insight into our financial performance, operational metrics, budget/forecast variances and PA quality/product enhancement initiatives. This analyst is also responsible for monthly account audits that identify drivers and risks to overall Network PA volume, including maintaining a dynamic, interactive reporting platform to enable our users to access self-service tools and reporting. 

 

Some examples of the things you’ll work on: 

  • Collaboration with Network Operations on strategic growth initiatives, including, but not limited to, EHR/Health System acquisition and retention, Pharmacy incremental opportunities, and Provider NPI Growth 

  • Deep dive analysis into the drivers of PA volume, providing subject matter expertise of trends driving our business

  • Support our business stakeholders with evidenced-based decision making on strategic growth

  • Collaboration with internal client-facing teams to provide support in advancing our partner relationships

  • Creation and maintenance of interactive self-service solutions for our internal stakeholders

  • Top-line PA volume forecasting process 

 

About You: 

The ideal candidate will serve as the go-to data person who can connect the dots for clients and colleagues. A successful business intelligence analyst can analyze large, complex data sets and extract meaningful information while mentoring associates and mid-level team members. We believe success in this position requires the drive to systematize and automate the creation, quality assurance, and distribution of analytics.  

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent, and 4+ years of relative experience

  • Intermediate-level knowledge of SQL 

  • Knowledge of and experience with Tableau 

  • Bright, outstanding problem-solver 

  • Passion for data analysis and data visualization 

  • Strong technical skills with high business acumen; healthcare experience a plus 

  • Experience with statistics 

  • Proven ability to mentor others 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment 

  • Knack for automating processes 

  • Python experience is a plus

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$83,400 - $139,000
