Job Description
As an Intern Data Governance Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting our data governance initiatives. You will work closely with our data governance team to establish data governance frameworks, data catalog and data marketplace. You will also be involved in effective data management across the organization.
How You Will Contribute
Support Data Governance Projects: Assist in the development and implementation of data governance frameworks and policies.
Data Access Management: Help manage data access controls to ensure compliance and security, including provisioning and deprovisioning access right
Data Catalog/Data Marketplace: Participate in the implementation of a catalog/marketplace for USBU
Documentation: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of data catalog and metadata repositories.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with various departments to promote best practices in data management and governance.
Data Analysis: Assist in data profiling, cleansing, and validation activities to support business needs.

Job Requirements:
This is a hybrid position located in Cambridge, MA
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in: Integrated Media and Design, Computer Science and Other related fields
Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar)
Experience with wireframing tools (e.g., Figma, Balsamiq) and basic UX principles.
Strong visual storytelling and design skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to gather and document user requirements effectively.
Interest in data governance and understanding of data management principles
Internship Eligibility
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship
Must be currently enrolled in a degree program graduating December 2025 or later
The internship program is 10-12 weeks depending on the two start dates (June 2nd- August 29th) or (June 16th - August 22nd
The intern must be able to commit to one of these time frames
Able to work full time 40 hours a week during internship dates
Takeda does not provide a housing stipend or relocation support for the U.S Summer Internship Program

USA - MA - Cambridge - Kendall Square - 500U.S. Hourly Wage Range:
$21.00 - $46.00
The estimated hourly range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual hourly wage offered will depend on the candidate’s school year/level to be entered following completion of internship. The actual hourly wage offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. internship benefits vary by location and may include:
