From the boardroom to the breakroom, our team members make a difference every day.  What You Will Be Working On:The Machine Learning Developer Intern will be responsible for collaborating with the Predictive Analytics team to build, validate, and optimize machine learning models, contributing to the entire development lifecycle from data preprocessing to model deployment. This internship offers a unique opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world projects, gaining hands-on experience in the rapidly evolving field of machine learning and data science. 

• Assist in analytics development, implementing cutting-edge machine learning algorithms.
• Work with data scientists and business stakeholders to design and develop features, reusable components, and analytics solutions.
• Develop and implement data collection procedures to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Clean and prepare data for analysis by removing errors, duplicates, and inconsistencies.
• Organize data into a structured format that is easy to analyze and query.
• Document data collection, cleaning, and organization process to ensure reproducibility.
• Monitor data quality and take corrective action when necessary.
• Assist in developing and evaluating machine learning models using a variety of techniques.
• Proactively analyze platform and system performance, implementing improvement solutions.
• Collaborate within and across teams regarding different layers of technical infrastructure.
• Create unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
• Aid in access and curation of relevant datasets and data representation methods.
• Provide support on department-wide ad hoc initiatives.

What You Need to Be Successful:We are looking for a student who will be a rising Senior during the summer of 2025, pursuing a degree in Computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Machine Learning, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related field with a minimum GPA of 3.5 to join our Predictive Analytics and Insights team with a focus on building advanced analytics platforms.  

• Solid foundation and programming experience in Python, SQL, and Spark.
• Understanding of data structures, data modeling, and software architecture.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Critical thinker with the ability to synthesize complex information and conceptualize solutions.
• Ability to foster strong, collaborative relationships and communicate effectively at all levels.
• A team player who displays self-confidence, encourages collaboration.
• Demonstrated integrity and commitment to the highest ethical standards and personal values.
• Self-motivation and initiative to organize and prioritize work.

The hourly compensation for this role is in the range of $21.00 - $24.00.
