JOB SUMMARY

The Quantitative Research Intern is responsible for testing existing LLM and other NLP models to build sentiment scores for equity return forecasts.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Process and prepare textual and return data for model training.
• Research and compare various NLP models.
• Writing codes to test the NLP models.
• Writing codes to train deep learning models.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Strong academic credentials in related major, e.g., Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance.
• Solid understanding of applied statistics, including distributions, regression, and statistical testing
• Strong programming skills. R, Python, and SQL.
• Knowledge of machine learning techniques and experience implementing machine learning algorithms in production is an advantage.
