We are now looking for a Data scientist at our Product & Data team, IMC IKEA Marketing & Communication Team in Älmhult. Do you want to join us?
Job Description
As a Data scientist, you will be part of cross-functional product team, that will use complex datasets to translate findings into actionable business strategies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop models and algorithms that drive decision-making and operational efficiency within IKEA marketing & communication.
You will:
· Collect, process, and analyze large datasets from various sources to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
· Develop and implement predictive models and machine learning algorithms to solve business challenges.
· Use statistical analysis to identify opportunities for product improvement and optimization.
· Present findings and insights to stakeholders through compelling data visualizations and storytelling.
· Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate data-driven solutions into our products and services.
· Continuously evaluate and refine models to ensure ongoing accuracy and relevance.
· Stay current with the latest industry trends, tools, and methodologies to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications
We believe you are a tech-savvy, analytical thinker with a passion for data science, machine learning, and AI, who thrives on a mix of team collaboration and individual work. You have experience in building and maintaining machine learning systems in a production environment.
Qualifications
You have a comprehensive understanding of AI, statistical and machine learning techniques and can understand various data structures and common methods in data transformation. You have a high competence in appropriate set of languages, technologies, and frameworks and with data modelling techniques and concepts. You also need:
· Master's degree in statistics, physics, mathematics, econometrics, computer science or equivalent, experience in digital marketing is a plus
· Experience working in equal or comparable position for at least 3 years
· Good communications skills to explain advanced topics to different audiences
· Experience in building models, deploying and maintaining them in a production platform
· Excellent in programming, preferably in several programming languages: such as C#, Python, or SQL.
· Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud services such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform.
· Understanding of data modeling concepts and tools (such as Databricks, Azure Data Factory, SQL)
