  • Drive Technical Excellence: Establish and uphold best practices in data architecture, data modeling, and technology selection, ensuring adherence to data governance standards and leading FinOps initiatives for cost-effective, resource-efficient solutions.
  • Mentorship: Collaborate with Principal Analytics and Data Engineers and other senior engineers to share insights, tackle complex technical challenges, and promote best practices across teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical growth.
  • Optimize Performance: Lead efforts to identify and resolve bottlenecks, ensuring the analytics platform is optimized for cost efficiency, reliability, and high-speed data access.
  • Seamless Integration: Work cross-functionally with teams and stakeholders to embed the analytics platform within the organization’s broader data architecture, ensuring smooth interoperability across systems.
  • Stay Ahead: Keep pace with emerging technologies, leveraging innovations to enhance the analytics platform’s capabilities and align with strategic goals.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 10+ years of experience in data engineering, with deep expertise in data architecture, distributed systems, and large-scale analytics platforms
  • Proven track record in designing, implementing, and optimizing data pipelines, real-time processing systems, and microservices architectures, with a solid understanding of data modeling and governance principles
  • Strong experience with Azure data services, Databricks, Delta Lake, and related analytics technologies, as well as experience with message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ and messaging patterns
  • Proficiency in DevOps practices and containerization technologies, and an understanding of FinOps principles to drive cost-effective and resource-efficient solutions

  • Passion for monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing production systems, making data-driven decisions to enhance platform reliability and performance
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of conveying technical insights effectively to a diverse audience, from stakeholders to cross-functional technical teams, providing technical guidance and vision
  • Enthusiasm for staying up-to-date on emerging technologies and applying them to drive innovation within the analytics platform

Nice to Have:
