Test Data Management- Associate

The role involves developing and executing a long-term strategy for enterprise test data management, including estimating tasks, analyzing requirements, and implementing TDM processes. Responsibilities include identifying necessary test data, creating repeatable processes for data masking and refreshing, ensuring compliance with security and data regulations, provisioning data for various testing phases, and automating the test data generation process.

As a Test Data Management Associate in our IT department, you will be responsible for developing and executing a long-term strategy for enterprise test data management. This includes estimating tasks, analyzing requirements, and implementing TDM processes. You will identify necessary test data, create repeatable processes for data masking and refreshing, ensure compliance with security and data regulations, provision data for various testing phases, and automate the test data generation process.

Job responsibilities:

• Developing and executing a long-term strategy for enterprise test data management
• Estimating testing-related tasks, analyzing testing requirements, designing and developing supporting tools, testing, and implementing TDM processes and solutions
• Identifying the Type of Data required for Testing ( Manual & Automated tests)
• Creating consistent and repeatable processes to support multiple functions, such as identifying and masking test data for different applications and refreshing/updating test data as needed
• Ensuring compliance with IT security guidelines and data compliance regulations
• Provisioning data for QA testing, user acceptance testing, and performance testing.
• Should be able to automate test data generation process

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

• Proficiency in using TDM tools to create and mine test data, as well as the ability to automate data generation to test scenarios rapidly.
• The ability to identify inefficiencies in the test data and optimize it to improve the testing process by creating scripts or using other methods.
• Strong engineering skills, including knowledge of languages such as Java (Hive, Apache, Hadoop) and Scala (Apache Spark, Kafka).
• Experience in automation using tools such as Selenium and UIPath, as well as knowledge of database technologies like Big data/Hadoop, Teradata, SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres, DB2 for managing data storage tasks.

• Mentoring Skills and analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills to work with senior leaders, product, tech and various groups
• Ability to negotiate, communicate and deliver effective Automated solutions to both Development and QA organizations.
• Work experience in the financial industry especially in Wealth and Asset Management will be preferred
• Experience in use of MS Office products for both analysis and presentation.
