Keyrus is looking for a Data Consultant – Looker & Power BI. We are seeking experienced Data Consultants to support the migration of reporting solutions from Looker (also referred to as Looker Studio or Google Cloud Looker) to Power BI. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a global project with a focus on innovative technologies and process optimization.

Target Start Date: February or March 2025

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with global audit and technical teams to support the migration from Looker to Power BI.
• Design and optimize SQL queries to enhance report performance and efficiency.
• Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and accessibility throughout the migration process.
• Troubleshoot issues related to data models, dashboards, and analytics tools.
• Stay current with best practices and emerging technologies in data analytics and visualization.

Requirements for the role

• University degree in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related fields.
• 4+ years of experience in similar roles, including:
  • Expertise in Looker (or Looker Studio/Google Cloud Looker) and data modelling.
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI (report building and dashboard creation).
  • Advanced SQL skills for query design and optimization.
  • Knowledge of Oracle databases and PL/SQL.
• Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities.
• Advanced in English
• Fluent in Spanish
• Must be a Portuguese or European citizen or have a work permit for Portugal

Good to Have

• Certifications in Power BI, Oracle Database, or SQL.
• Google Cloud Looker Certifications:
  • Looker Certified Business Analyst
  • Looker Certified LookML Developer
• Experience with Python for data handling and automation.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud solutions such as Looker Studio or advanced enterprise-grade Google Cloud Looker tools.
