Senior Java Developer

We're on the lookout for a Senior Java Developer to take on a pivotal role in our team. You'll be at the heart of building robust Java applications, focusing on modern development frameworks. Here's what your journey with us would look like:

What you will do:

• Develop, Test, and Maintain: Write clean, efficient Java code, focusing on Spring Boot and GraphQL.
• Collaborate with the Team: Work alongside cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy new features.
• Engage in AI Model Consumption: Use models like GPT (turbo 3.5 to 4), LLaMA, and SDXL for various tasks, such as image inference. Work on defining and refining prompts for better results.
• Integrate AI into Services: Utilize existing ML models (e.g., KNN) and help integrate AI capabilities into our services.
• Work with OpenAPI: Develop contract-based services and tests, ensuring smooth integration.
• Troubleshoot and Optimize: Address performance issues and resolve bugs to keep applications running smoothly.
• Participate in Architecture Discussions: Share your perspective during technical discussions and help evaluate new solutions.
• Provide mentorship to less experienced engineers.
  

Experience and skills you need to join us:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Java Skills: Expert knowledge of Java, with experience in Spring Boot and GraphQL.
• Understanding of Software Design: Familiarity with design patterns and best practices to ensure maintainable code.
• Tech Skills: Very well understanding of object-oriented programming, experience with relational and NoSQL databases, data processing, and ability to write unit and integration tests using JUnit.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively.
  
• Mentoring: Experience in guiding and supporting junior/mid team members.
• Fluency in Polish and English: You will attend meetings with English-speaking clients.

It would be great if you also have:

• CI/CD and Cloud Configuration: Experience with deployment pipelines and cloud-based configurations, even if not strictly in a DevOps role.
• AI Expertise: Some experience with AI-based tools, particularly in LLMs and prompt engineering.
• Experience with Streaming Technologies: Familiarity with data streaming technologies like Kafka, Spark, WebSocket
