About the team

 

The HCM GTM team drives customer success, growth at scale and market differentiation for SAP SuccessFactors. We are a global high performing team with a big goal – defining, developing and activating the SuccessFactors global go-to-market strategy, bringing innovation to market, igniting, and aligning different growth engines and collaborating with a broad set of regional and global stakeholders.

 

What you’ll do:

 

Position title: SAP SuccessFactors iXp Intern – Data Analytics and Operations

Location:  New York, NY

Expected start date: Jan/Feb 2025

Duration: 6 Months

Schedule: 40 HR/Week

 

In this role, you’ll:

 

The SuccessFactors Data Analytics and Operations intern supports the GTM team on its growth mission through a variety of strategic and high-profile initiatives including:

  • Supporting the SuccessFactors GTM leadership team in developing a roadmap of activities and executing key milestones to enhance day-to-day operational efficiency.
  • Identifying and implementing opportunities to effectively showcase GTM activities and resources by managing data sources—such as dashboards, tools, reports, and updates—and using innovative tools to improve stakeholder engagement and data accessibility.
  • Leading the creation of GTM analyses to generate actionable insights and develop recommendations to refine the Global GTM Strategy. Responsibilities include defining market entry paths, prioritizing demand generation efforts, building targeted value propositions, and supporting new SuccessFactors account acquisitions.
  • Collaborating with global and regional stakeholders to support GTM Strategy execution and Sales Program development through timely report generation, dashboard maintenance, and ad hoc data analysis to enable data-driven decision-making.
  • Identifying areas for improvement in team activities and deliverables and translating these insights into practical enhancements.
  • Leading and supporting team culture initiatives to strengthen the GTM team identity and contribute to the performance and well-being of all team members.

  • Business acumen and experience: Ability to understand the big picture, connect dots, build and communicate recommendations and bridge the gap between strategy and execution
  • Prior business strategy, business development, marketing, or sales experience
  • Analytical skills: Ability to produce and interpret reports and synthesize qualitative and quantitative information into meaningful and actional steps and recommendations.
  • Critical thinker, with the ability to identify roadblocks and solve them bringing the right input and teams together.
  • Self-starter and outcome oriented, with a passion for learning and problem solving. Comfortable building a point of view and questioning status quo
  • Passion for storytelling and design tools that bring those stories to life. Ability to design engaging, clear and actionable communications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills and comfort working across functions, seniority level, culture, and time zones in matrixed organizations. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint), with experience in design and video tools, and advanced analytical software.
  • Advanced expertise in MS Excel functions (including Power Query) and data visualization tools (such as Power BI and Tableau) is essential. Familiarity with programming languages like R, SQL, and Python is preferred.
  • Interest in and proven experience with utilizing a variety of AI tools to enhance productivity and optimize workflows a plus

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the hourly base salary rate range applicable for the posted role.
