Artemisa lends its name to this project, which aims to promote the creation and use of techniques and tools necessary to understand and address the challenges of digital security, while fostering the active participation and empowerment of women in the field of cybersecurity.
The expected start date is February 3rd 2025, the job is based in Barcelona.
Objectives of the project:

Generate knowledge and train professionals capable of analyzing, evaluating, and mitigating security risks in digital environments.

Raise awareness among organizations and individuals about the importance of adopting robust security measures in their digital environments.

Promote the adoption of good cybersecurity practices in business, governmental, and personal spheres.

Encourage the participation of more women in the field of cybersecurity by ensuring equal opportunities and promoting diversity and inclusion.

Support research and development of new techniques and tools in the field of cybersecurity, generating new knowledge and sharing it with society.
To achieve these objectives, Artemis operates through three main branches:

Research:

Development of techniques and tools in cybersecurity and cryptography.

Continuous training for faculty and researchers.

Participation in international conferences and congresses.

Education:
-
Training in essential and up-to-date knowledge and skills to tackle security challenges in the digital world.

Promoting cybersecurity education by creating educational audiovisual materials, setting up a cyber-range laboratory, introducing a special mention in cybersecurity, awarding scholarships and prizes for undergraduate projects, and more.

Outreach:

Organizing and participating in various events and activities such as workshops for children, participation in round tables, congresses, interviews, and more.
Tasks to be performed:
Job description: We are looking for a professional to support research projects in the areas of zero knowledge proofs, with special emphasis on the implementation part and its application in the field of data science.
Main tasks:
-
Design and implementation of zero knowledge proofs.
-
Data science support and exploration of privacy requirements.
-
Exploration of opportunities for the application of zero knowledge proofs in data science, with an emphasis on privacy and security.
The duration of these tasks is estimated over a period of 11 months.
Group and complement: Group 1 Level s
Dedication and working hours: Full time (35h/week).
Planned remuneration approx: 37.783,48 € gross per year
Financing fund: Proyecto PRESP06023 - ARTEMISA - Cátedra de Ciberseguridad INCIBE - Daza, Vanesa, “ARTEMISA - Cátedra de Ciberseguridad INCIBE”. Qualifications
Requirements:

Bachelor degree.
The expected start date is February 3rd 2025, the job is in Barcelona.
Selection criteria: The selection of the candidates will be made through evaluation of the curriculum and, where appropriate, with the carrying out a test and/or interview. Valuation will be as follows:

Academic Training (0-40 points):
-
Demonstrated academic background with solid theoretical and practical training relevant to the position's areas of expertise.
-
Bachelor Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or Engineering.
-
Previous experience in implementing zero knowledge proofs.
-
Proficiency in programming languages.
-
Ability to organize and work as part of a team in multidisciplinary environments.
-
Proficiency in Spanish, Catalan and English.
-
Knowledge in data science and artificial intelligence.
-
Experience in academic or industrial research projects.
-
Professional Training and Experience (0-40 points):
-
Relevant experience in software development, particularly in academic or research-driven projects, aligning with the proposed profile.

Other Merits (0-20 points):
-
Proven initiative, autonomy, and ability to work independently.
The minimum score to pass the selection process is 60 points. The candidate with the highest score in the selection process will be offered the job.
