Your new role

As a Data Analyst, DAX at Global, you will be part of Global’s Commercial Data Strategy team. This team is tasked with delivering data-driven solutions and impactful insights to our clients across multiple channels and markets.

You will be working closely with various teams across the Commercial department and will be responding to briefs from our advertising partners, developing compelling insights, and providing actionable post campaign analysis. You’ll also be involved in shaping the future of digital audio by bringing new measurement and targeting solutions to market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce compelling data-led solutions for our Commercial team, including audience planning and measurement frameworks
  • Deliver insightful and useful post campaign analysis reports.
  • Lead a group of commercial agency patches and be the go-to expert for strategic data insights
  • Help drive data product uptake across the Commercial team.
  • Build strong alignment with colleagues across the Commercial department so that data is used in the right way, at the right times, and to full effect.

What Success Looks Like

In your first few months, you’ll have:

  • Gained proficiency in Global’s datasets and analytics tools across Radio and DAX
  • Responded to briefs and prepared post campaign analysis reports for key clients
  • Set a personal development plan and defined ways of working

What You’ll Need

  • The ability to translate complex datasets into impactful, compelling insight
  • Good understanding of the current and future audio landscape, including the use of 1st, 2nd and 3rd party datasets and the benefits of each
  • 3-5 years of experience within a relevant sector or agency
  • A passion for the media landscape and the role that data and technology play.
  • Understanding of Global’s media assets.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues from multiple teams across a business.
  • Experience with Tableau, Excel, Alteryx or Snowflake is an advantage.
