This is where you and your skills come in. We’re currently looking for a Product Analytics and Strategy Director with a strong blend of analytical and strategic thinking skills to join our team. The ideal candidate is a data-driven storyteller who can extract, analyze, and visualize data while providing strategic insights that influence product decisions. They must be adept at SQL, skilled in Tableau, and capable of crafting compelling presentations that communicate data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
 

To succeed in this role you must have experience in:

  • Data Analysis & SQL Expertise: Write complex SQL queries to extract, clean, and manipulate data from large databases to support business and product decisions.

  • Strategic Insight Generation: Leverage data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that align with organizational goals and product strategies.

  • Data Visualization: Create intuitive and impactful dashboards and reports in Tableau to help stakeholders interpret data and make informed decisions.

  • Presentation Development: Build clear, visually compelling slides and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to cross-functional teams and leadership.

  • Collaboration & Communication: Partner with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align data analysis efforts with business priorities and product roadmaps.

  • Problem-Solving: Proactively identify data gaps, inefficiencies, or opportunities and propose solutions to optimize processes or strategies.

  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, data tools, and techniques to ensure analysis methods remain cutting-edge and impactful.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficient in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.

    • Strong experience with Tableau for creating dashboards and visualizations.

    • Familiarity with other data analysis tools or programming languages (e.g., Python, R) is a plus.

  • Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to interpret data within a business context and translate insights into actionable strategies.

  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to diverse audiences.

  • Presentation Design: Skilled in PowerPoint or similar tools for creating professional, visually appealing slides.

  • Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and quality in data analysis and deliverables.

  • Experience: 5+ years in data analysis, strategy, or a related role, preferably in a product-focused environment.

If you are hired in Belmont, California, the compensation range for this position is between $155,750 and $222,500 for full-time employees, in addition to eligibility for variable pay, equity, and benefits. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, health and wellness, 401k, ESPP, vacation, parental leave, and more! The salary may vary depending on your location, skills, and experience.
