Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and experienced Generative Artificial Intelligence Architect to lead our technical efforts in designing and implementing innovative AI solutions. As a Generative AI Architect, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful design, development, and deployment of modern Generative AI systems.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Design scalable and robust Generative AI architectures, ensuring they meet performance, reliability, and security requirements;
• Collaborate with other architects and engineers to integrate Generative AI systems into the overall technology stack;
• Evaluate and select the right technologies, tools, and platforms for Generative AI development. Stay informed about industry trends and advancements to guide technology decisions;
• Work closely with data scientists, ML engineers, software engineers, and technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective architectural solutions. Foster collaboration across teams to ensure a cohesive approach to AI system development;
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the AI, data, and development teams. Facilitate knowledge sharing, training, and continuous learning initiatives;
• Create comprehensive documentation for architectural designs, frameworks, and methodologies. Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Essential Skills

• Experience as an AI/ML engineer or Data Scientist professional experience;
  
• Proven technical leadership skills with the ability to drive technical initiatives and mentor team members;
  
• Management experience – coaching and developing high-performing teams;
  
• Experience working with stakeholders at the Sr. Director and above level;
  
• Deep understanding of software engineering principles and best practices, as well as of cloud computing platforms and tools;
  
• LLM-specific qualifications:
    - Experience in architecting and implementing Generative AI solutions using Large Language Models, particularly RAG systems;
    - Proven expertise in the evaluation and improvement of Generative AI systems powered by Large Language Models;
    - Proven experience designing and building cloud-based Generative AI applications in AWS and Azure.

Highly Desirable Skills

• Solid data science skills;
• Solid data engineering skills;
• Azure certifications (AI/ML, Data, Cloud) are a big plus.
