You will closely work on the frontier of Generative AI by using recent AI/CV technologies like Diffusion Models, GANs, etc., all while having the opportunity to contribute to research publications and publish at top-tier venues.

You will

  • Research and develop novel state-of-the-art computer vision algorithms. Topics include but are not limited to generative AI with diffusion and autoregressive models, video generation/editing, inpainting, and super-resolution.
  • Create and implement non-standard, fresh, and creative scientific ideas to improve or speed up existing technologies.
  • Push the ideas to improve the quality of designed models specified by the product requirements.
  • Support and justify new ideas with a theoretical and intuitive basis.
  • Collaborate with product managers and be highly involved in the usage of the research in the product.
  • Follow up and support the development of models in an end-to-end manner: from design to production.
  • Analyse, Interpret and explain outcomes of non-trivial experiments.
  • Analyse the data used in experiments, understand the subtleties of it, and modify appropriately if necessary.
  • Communicate with data and product teams, write clear and understandable research requirement documents.
  • Collaborate with other scientists, exchange novel and interesting ideas, and reflect these ideas in the research process.

About you

  • Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, or other related fields.
  • 3+ years of industry working experience in machine learning, deep learning (on computer vision tasks.)
  • Experience in continuous development of ML/DL models and supporting them in the production.
  • Experience in scientific/academic research demonstrated by grants, patents, and/or first-authored publications at high-ranked conferences (such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, SIGGRAPH, etc.) and/or journals (such as TPAMI, TIP, IJCV, etc.)
  • Experience in deep theoretical understanding, communicating complex research ideas clearly and concisely in both written and verbal formats.
  • Experience in ML/DL frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
  • Experience in diffusion models and a deep understanding of the theory behind them.
  • Experience in autoregressive model training is a big plus.
  • Experience in GANs is a plus.
  • Experience in leading teams or mentoring is a plus.
  • Experience in classic computer vision approaches is a plus.
  • Excellent self-organization, time management, planning, and analytical skills.
  • Advanced written and verbal English communication skills.
