Job summary:

The Business Intelligence Officer will design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions with a focus on Tableau. The role involves gathering business requirements, analyzing data, and transforming it into actionable insights through effective dashboards and reports.

Roles:

• Analyze large datasets to uncover insights and trends.

• Develop, publish, and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define BI requirements and deliver Tableau-based solutions.
• Optimize and enhance Tableau dashboards to meet business needs and ensure usability.
• Work closely with departments to understand data needs and deliver customized Tableau visualizations.
• Present findings to stakeholders and support decision-making with data-driven insights.
• Monitor Tableau performance and optimize dashboards for speed and efficiency.
• Stay current with Tableau updates and features, implementing enhancements as needed

Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related field.

Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in BI or data analysis roles.
• Hands-on experience with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Online.

Skills:

• Proficiency in SQL for querying databases.
• Expertise in data visualization best practices using Tableau.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of ETL tools and data integration processes.
• Experience with scripting languages like Python for advanced analytics.
• Familiarity with Tableau Prep for data preparation.
• Understanding of database systems (e.g., MySQL, or Oracle).
