Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager, Master data Management
In this role, provide support for the material master data creation, amendment and management support. Engineering background with orientation to materials and master data

Responsibilities
•    SAP experience and how material masters work in SAP (eg. linkage to BoM’, Equipment, Work orders material groups, lot sizes, etc.)
•    Ability to recognize materials based on characteristics – i.e. familiar with attributes that allow for recognition when data makes sense.  For example, valves have certain characteristics that are significantly different than gaskets.
•    Ability to use experience and knowledge to lead and focus on special project that will drive data quality improvement
•    Understanding of UNSPSC and how to classify accordingly
•    Understanding of taxonomy methodologies and how they drive data quality
•    Ability to communicate and challenge with customer base on sound master data principles.  Demonstrate credibility through materials knowledge.  For example, implication of using naming taxonomy to group materials vs. other system functions.

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
•    Bachelors in mechanical engineering
•    Relevant experience in S2P/P2P  
•    Relevant experience in Supply chain and master data management  
•    Prepare clear and concise reports. (Excellent Excel skills)
•    Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writings.
•    Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
•    Created SOPs on the process Activity 
•    Worked as a lean analyst and driven Lean Ideas within the team.
•    Sound knowledge on Ariba & SAP ERP systems

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
•    Should have relevant years of sourcing experience especially in the Energy, Power, Oil & gas industry 
•    Should possess strong negotiation skills
•    Should possess good interpersonal skills and must be a team player
Should understand End-to-End Sourcing & Procurement processes
