Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Power BI Expert with 5+ years of hands-on experience in building and optimizing BI solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Microsoft Power BI and a strong proficiency in MS Fabric. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to provide valuable insights to business stakeholders.

Your Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
• Leverage MS Fabric to manage data integration, transformation, and modeling.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
• Optimize Power BI reports for performance and scalability, ensuring efficient data querying and visualization.
• Implement data security measures and manage user access in Power BI and MS Fabric environments.
• Create and maintain data models using MS Fabric, ensuring data consistency and accuracy across platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Power BI reports and MS Fabric data pipelines.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members on Power BI best practices and MS Fabric tools.
• Work closely with IT teams to ensure smooth integration between Power BI and other enterprise systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working with Power BI and BI solutions.
• Expertise in MS Fabric (Power Query, Dataflows, Datasets, and Fabric Analytics).
• Strong proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for complex calculations and measures.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Experience with SQL and data querying.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Power BI Certification or related certifications.
• Experience with advanced analytics and machine learning integration within Power BI.
• Knowledge of other Microsoft tools such as Azure Synapse, SQL Server, and Power Automate.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services and integration with Power BI.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
