We are looking for a Data Scientist to join Data and Analytics team in Packaging Materials division. As a Data Scientist, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop analytical solutions that address complex business challenges. In this role, you will leverage statistical modelling, machine learning, and data visualization tools to deliver impactful solutions.
Your location will be in Helsinki, Ostrava or any other Stora Enso Packaging Materials location within the Nordics, and you will report to Head of Data and Analytics. We apply hybrid way of working.
In this key role, you will:
Design and implement advanced analytics models
Manage data science projects from conception to deployment
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their challenges
Work closely with other data and analytics experts including external vendors
Communicate complex data concepts and the results of analyses in a clear and effective manner to non-technical stakeholders
Stay current with the latest industry trends in machine learning and artificial intelligence
About you
We are looking for a person who has the following background:
University degree in data science, mathematics, statistics, computer science, or other similar field
2+ years of professional experience in data science, analytics, or related fields
Solid hands-on experience and understanding of modern approaches in AI
Proficiency in Python for data analysis and model development
Expertise with Microsoft Azure cloud platform seen as an advantage
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in teams
