Position Summary
We’re seeking a Data Science Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving data-driven decision-making processes, leveraging advanced analytics, machine learning and statistical methodologies.   • Solve complex business problems and support decision making through a range of data preparation, modeling, analysis and/or visualization techniques, including predictive analysis, business intelligence, pattern recognition, operational effectiveness and/or economic forecasting.

  • Participates in complex projects of strategic importance involving cross-functional teams, in support of the organization's overall analytics strategy

  • Develops and/or uses algorithms and statistical predictive models and determines analytical approaches and modeling techniques to evaluate scenarios and potential future outcomes

  • Performs analyses of structured and unstructured data to solve multiple and/or complex business problems utilizing advanced statistical techniques and mathematical analyses and broad knowledge of the organization and/or industry

  • Develops and participates in presentations and consultations to existing and prospective constituents on analytics results and solutions

  • Interacts with internal and external peers and managers to exchange complex information related to areas of specialization

  • Use strong knowledge in algorithms and predictive models to investigate problems, detect patterns and recommend solutions

  • Use strong programming skills to explore, examine and interpret large volumes of data in various forms


Required Qualifications

  • 0~2 years of working experience using analytics to solve product or business problems, ideally in healthcare industry

  • Strong programming skills in Python, proficiency in SQL to extract and manipulate dataset from various databases, and Visualization tools such as Tableau

  • Demonstrates proficiency in most areas of mathematical analysis methods, machine learning, statistical analyses, and predictive modeling and in-depth specialization in some areas


Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrates strong ability to communicate technical concepts and implications to business partners

  • Attention to details and proven record of delivering impactful results in a fast-paced environment 

Education

  • Bachelor's degree with a concentration in quantitative discipline - Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, Economics, or similar discipline

  • Master's degree or PhD in related discipline is preferred

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$67,980.00 - $135,960.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
