Job Description

Maverc Technologies is seeking a dedicated Test Engineer to join our talented team. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating and ensuring the quality of our products through rigorous testing processes. Collaborating closely with software development and project management teams, you will design, develop, and execute test cases to validate system functionalities and performance.

Your main responsibilities will include creating detailed test plans, reporting metrics, and documenting test results. As a Test Engineer, you will identify defects and inconsistencies, facilitating communication between teams to resolve issues and improve overall product quality. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will be critical in ensuring our solutions meet the high standards set by Maverc Technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate test cases based on defined requirements and product functionality.
  • Perform baseline, system and regression level testing in support of research and development efforts.
  • Analyze large log data sets and software test data while documenting results in a clear and concise manner.
  • Create test documents such as test plans, requirements verification traceability matrices and test summary reports and provide analysis of test procedures.
  • This position is 100% onsite.
  • To be eligible for this position, the candidate must hold an active TS/SCI+FS Poly security clearance.

What You’ll Need:

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Active TS/SCI+FSP Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Four (4) years of additional TE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of experience with being a test engineer developing or executing test scripts and analyzing results in while performing system testing of complex systems.
  • Strong Python experience.
  • Experience with using and developing scripts in Python and creating regular expressions for searching data sets.
  • Experience with integrating new and old technologies into existing network configurations and test beds
  • Experience with creating scenarios that support the creation of test cases and analysis of procedures.
  • Ability to manage discrepancy reports identified during testing
  • Ability to develop, build and test multiple lab environments using various telephony and networking hardware following formal testing methods

  • Ability to set priorities and rearrange schedules to address unexpected issues, and preform baseline, system and regression level testing in support of researching and development efforts.
